Ed Tobenas, DC  
    
   Dr. Tobenas is very passionate about providing quality chiropractic care so that those who need his help may achieve better health.  Dr. Tobenas is currently the owner and head practitioner of Florida Chiropractic Health Center in Central Florida

   Dr. Tobenas completed his undergraduate degree at Florida International University with a Bachelor of Science in Biological Science.  He then attended Life University's College of Chiropractic in Marietta, Georgia, and earned his doctorate from Palmer College of Chiropractic West.  

   During his enrollment at Life University he began to learn about the Gonstead System  where he quickly learned that the biomechanics of the spine are based on mechanical principles, it provides scientific results and true corrections.   

   While at Palmer College of Chiropractic West he served as President of the Gonstead Study Club.  As president, not only did he help manage but also taught the analysis class where chiropractic students learned the intricacies of the human spine and how to thoroughly analyze the vertebral column.  

   Dr. Tobenas also found time to aid in the education of the college’s Gonstead Elective where many students would come for guidance on many aspects of this technique including proper patient case management.

   He is a current member of the Gonstead Clinical Studies Society and lectures throughout Central Florida about the cause and prevention of musculoskeletal injuries.

   In the past he has also dedicated himself in the chiropractic abroad program where he has participated in the XVII Jornada Quiropractica, Mision El Salvador.  This trip helps establish quality chiropractic care to countries that would otherwise never have benefited from chiropractic care.

   Dr. Tobenas currently resides in Sanford with his wife, Jennifer and his wonderful son Aidan.  For the past seven years, they have both enjoyed the company of their two Boston Terriers, Bruno and Spanky.  When not at Florida Chiropractic Health Center, you can find Dr. Tobenas enjoying golf, sailing, riding his bicycle, exercising, or just spending quality time with his family.
